Our Vision

At Abundant Botanicals Collective, we nourish soil and spirit through regenerative landscape design. Living by the principle to 'use what you have' we cultivate spaces you want to stay home for.

Our designs combine edible and native perennials and raingardens, always starting at the top of your watershed to catch every raindrop.

With twenty-five years of experience teaching, advising, and mentoring in higher education, lead designer Bethany Keller brings the mind of a scholar, the heart of a mentor and the eye of a dreamer to help clients learn the "right plants for the right place" and design sustainable gardens that inspire greater connection with the natural world.

Designs include detailed information for care and maintenance of chosen species. We aim to meet clients' needs individually with on-site walk-and-talks to share goals, frustrations and options.

Bethany aspires to inspire - growing gardens and sinking in deep roots here in suburban St Louis.

Meet our Lead Designer - Bethany Keller

Abundant Botanicals Collective was born out of Bethany's passion for connecting with the natural world and creating community starting with deep roots in Webster Groves at her demonstration garden and micro-nursery.

Bethany is a lifelong educator with experience teaching and training at the local, regional and national level. An interculturalist with a graduate degree in International Relations, Bethany builds bridges and creates community, helping people connect with one another around shared values and experiences and expanding our knowledge of one another through respectful cultural exchange. But as any interculturalist will tell you, growth often comes from the fertile ground of challenge and stepping outside one's comfort zone. And she did just that.

When the world shut down in 2020, Bethany went back to her roots and changed direction. Focusing on health and family during the pandemic, she built gardens, took countless classes on native plants and ecological design and explored the therapeutic qualities of aromatherapy with essential oils. This strange time brought forth a creative vision for transforming our yards, patios and porches into wildlife habitats that feed both body and mind.

Bethany offers a highly individualized consultation process to work with clients to dream big. She strives to co-create sustainable outdoor spaces that inspire moments of presence - slowing down in this fast-paced world to experience the natural world right outside our doors. Our designs focus on growing plants to feed our bodies with fresh food through greater connection with the changing seasons. At the foundation of all her naturescaping designs is a profound respect for our place in the food webs in our ecosystems.

Bethany loves teaching clients how to dream big sustainable gardening dreams and create a closer relationship with the land we inhabit together.
